본 연구의 목적은 전통적 정신치료가 지닌 한계를 지적하면서 예술치료나 철학치료와 같은 정신치료 과정에서 적용하는 임상철학의 메타과학적인 토대를 탈구조주의에서 확인하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 예술매체를 이용한 예술치료와 철학치료의 임상적 실천과정으로서의 치료매체 해석과 상담에 적용할 수 있는 학문적 토대로서 탈구조주의가 타당성이 있는가를 검토하기위해 두 카테고리로 나누어서 첫째, 치료매체를 해석하고 내담자에게 적용하는 방법으로서 둘째, 치료자가 내담자와 상담하는 방법으로서의 타당성에 관하여 논증한다.
주체와 주체의 욕망을 어떻게 규정하느냐에 따라 사회가 금기하는 주체의 욕망을 처리하는 방식에서 야기된 정신적 문제에 대한 진단과 그것을 치료하는 방식이 달라진다. 정신치료에 대한 인본주의적 접근과 프로이트의 전통적 심리치료의 접근은 둘 다 인간의 욕망을 이성의 올가미에 잡아넣으려는 방식으로 이루어져 왔다는 것을 부인할 수 없다. 이 두 접근법은 주체에 대한 인식은 현저하게 달랐지만 결과적으로 볼 때 치료의 방법에 있어서는 본능적 욕구를 억압하고 도덕, 신념, 가치관 등을 강화시키는 방식으로 치료가 이루어져왔다. 그러나 탈구조주의자들은 오히려 정신질병 유발의 원인을 인간의 욕망을 억압하는 이데올로기의 폭력성과 획일성으로 보고 있다. 탈구조주의자들의 주체, 욕망, 그리고 이데올로기에 대한 관점에 의하면, 인간의 정신적 질병의 원인은 유아기적 성경험에서 오이디푸스 콤플렉스로 인해 해결되지 못한 본능적 욕구 때문에 유발되는 것이 아니라, 오히려 인간의 본능적 욕구를 억압하는 문명의 욕망, 즉 이데올로기의 욕망 때문인 것이다. 그러므로 치료자는 알뛰세가 이데올로기의 종착지는 주체다라고 하였듯이, 자신들의 실체에는 자아가 남아 있는 것이 아니라 오히려 사회와 이데올로기가 남아 그들의 무의식을 억압하고 있음을 내담자에게 인식시켜야 한다. 이러한 접근법이 정신치료에서 가지는 의의는 내담자에게 이데올로기의 폭력성과 획일성을 주지시키고 이데올로기의 상대성을 인식시킴으로써 이데올로기의 힘을 초월할 수 있는 더 강한 자의식을 가지게 하는데 하나의 효과적인 방법이 될 수 있다는 것이다.

This essay aims at criticizing the limit of the humanistic and conventional psychoanalytic approach to mental therapy and identifying the validity of the post-structuralistic approach as a meta-scientific foundation of clinical philosophy which can be applied to mental therapy such as art therapy and philosophy therapy.
In order to achieve this purpose, this essay demonstrates the validity of Post -Structuralism as an theoretical foundation that can be applied to interpreting therapy media and counselling which belongs to the process of clinical practice of art therapy and philosophy therapy, dividing it into two categories, Post-Structuralism which can be applied to the way of interpreting therapy media and the way of counselling.
The way of diagnosis and remedy of mental problems which result from the way of dealing with the desire of subject that society prohibits depends on how we define the concept of subject and the desire of subject. It cannot be denied that both the humanistic approach and the Freudian psychoanalytic approach have tried to catch the desire of subject in a trap in the name of reason even though they have very different ways of understanding of subject and the desire of subject. As a result, both the approach have almost the same ways of diagnosis and remedy of mental problems. They have tried to deal with the patients in the way of repressing the instinctive desire of the patients and intensifying their morality, belief, and point of view. But Post-Structuralism preferably regard the violence and uniformity of ideology which suppress human's desire as the main reason that causes human's mental disease. According to the point of view of Post-Structuralism on subject, desire, and ideology, human's mental diseases aren't caused by the instinctive desires which are not solved because of the Oedipal complex in the infant's sexual experience in the stage of infant, but by the desire of civilization, that is to say, the desire of ideology. therefore, therapist should make patients recognize that there is not ego, but society, that is, ideology which repress their unconsciousness in their unconsciousness. This Post-Structuralistic approach can be a very effective way that can make patients have stronger self -consciousness which can transcend the power of ideology by making them recognize the violence and uniformity of and the relativity of ideology.
