Introduction

This study is to discover and collect a DB of dance contents for the maintenance and proper transmission of the dance patterns of intangible cultural heritage of Korea, and to compile it into an integrated data that can be used for research and education as well as industry Also it is provided through electronic culture guidance(map).

Expect Effect / Research Utilization

1. Use in Academic and Social aspects 1) It will contribute to spreading the horizon of intangible cultural heritage traditional dance to various fields. 2) It will contribute to revitalizing convergence research with adjacent academic fields. 3) It will contribute to providing a foundation for the globalization of Korean intangible cultural heritage traditional dance. 4) It will also contribute to the creation of economic added value by linking with the cultural and tourism industry. 5) It will contribute to the preparation of reasonable measures for designation of intangible cultural heritage dance holders. 6) It will contribute to the expansion of the foundation for the creation of new Hallyu culture. 7) It will contribute to the preparation of the knowledge base necessary to prepare for inscription as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. 8) It will contribute to nurturing experts related to DB construction as well as Korean traditional dance. 2. Educational Contribution 1) As for the dance content implemented through the electronic cultural map, audiovisual materials such as photos, sounds, and videos related to intangible cultural heritage dance are systematically and comprehensively researched, collected, and organized, so these dance materials can be effectively used in the curriculum. In this case, the effectiveness of education can be increased. 2) The dance content implemented through the electronic cultural map goes beyond simply searching and reading materials, as it can utilize the professional academic information DB as well as the diachronic data on the transmission process that the dance has been created and grown. Of course, it will greatly contribute to the excellence of academic research. 3) If the electronic cultural map is successfully implemented, the types and regional distribution of dances can be understood and known at a glance, so it is useful not only as content for cultural education about traditional dance, but also for history education. Accordingly, it is expected that in the future, it will be actively used for liberal arts education using electronic cultural guidance at universities, including elementary, middle, and high schools, and educational institutions such as citizens, liberal arts, and cultural lectures.
